| The Blue Company Goes Green |

In line with our environmental policy we have taken another step towards reducing our carbon footprint. From 1st May 2008 we will trialling an LPG van for use on our mobile patrol and alarm response routes. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is a clean and convenient source of energy in the UK that helps reduce emissions. If the trial is successful we will be converting all of our mobile patrol vehicles to LPG - Watch this space!

We continue to grow - We have expanded our office space once again. We are still in the same location but have been fortunate enough to add an office next door to ours doubling the space for our sales & ops departments.

Allied has now achieved the ISO accreditation and has been awarded the fully inspected status to the ISO9001:2000 standard which covers the provision of Static & Mobile Guarding BS7499 and Keyholding & Alarm Response BS7984.

We recently decided to make a significant investment in upgrading our IT equipment. Part of this upgrade has seen the introduction of server redundancy. This means for every one server we have another waiting to take over should the first one fail. We have also improved our data back-up systems, increasing security and stability.
