I would like a guard to look after my factory at night time. How much will this cost?
We quote separately for each new assignment. In order for us to give you a fair and tailored price we would need to have a good understanding of your requirements. The following are taken into consideration: Specific duties required, Risk, equipment, additional qualifications such as first aid or fire marshal certification & the environment the guard will be situated in.
Do all of your guards hold SIA badges?
Yes absolutely! All of our Security Guards are Vetted, Trained & hold current SIA licenses appropriate to the role they undertake.
Who are the SIA anyway?
SIA stands for Security Industry Authority. The authority was established in 2003 and reports directly to the Home Secretary.
How can I get a Job in security?
First of all you will need to complete the four day training course which covers basic job training & conflict management. On sucsessfull completion of the training course you may apply to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) for your license. You're then free to seek work with the security industry. Can a security guard cover a receptionist type role?
Yes - It is common place for a security officer to undertake security & reception type duties such as, using a switchboard to direct calls, sorting the mornings post, directing visitors to the correct departments, signing for deliveries and scheduling the meeting rooms. These duties would typically be in addition to the security routines such as, opening up and locking down the building, issuing keys, controlling access/checking ID and patrolling the premises looking for fire, floods and incursion.
